In 2021, we launched a global diversity and inclusion platform and strategy focused on fostering a culture
that encourages collaboration, flexibility and fairness to eliminate systemic barriers to full inclusion by
embedding diversity, equity and inclusion in policies and metrics to ensure management accountability. Our
senior leadership team actively and regularly monitors these key metrics to drive focus and progress around
our efforts.
We strive to be a place where individuals and groups can learn with and from each other. We aim to foster a
sense of shared experience and common purpose, along with a collective responsibility for each other's
well-being and for the well-being of the company as a whole. As part of this commitment, in
2022, our CEO joined the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ pledge to cultivate a workforce where
diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed.

We pride ourselves on our robust and comprehensive OSHA-aligned safety standards and go a step further by
creating an open feedback culture, through which employees' suggestions and improvements can be submitted.
In addition to engaging our employees in safety enhancements, over the past three years we've seen a 54%
decrease in global recordable injuries. Our robust safety trainings for employees cover a vast array of
topics, including fall prevention, ergonomics, hearing conservation and respiratory protection, among
others.
Hayward employees are provided competitive and comprehensive working pay and non-pay benefits, including

employees are provided feedback on performance and ongoing development through our annual performance review

Our employee development programs encompass newly hired or promoted managers and supervisors, among many
other programs, to help develop general management skills, conflict resolution, self-awareness and other
skills. For the sales and technical support teams, we offer product knowledge training, soft skills training
and leadership development. For our manufacturing and distribution associates, we conduct regular safety
training and offer training across the various production lines to enable our associates to broaden their
skills and enable a more flexible workforce. At regular intervals, trainings on sexual harassment are
offered to all associates, and additional ad-hoc training is provided to our team members upon request.
We are a platinum-level sponsor of Step into Swim, with a shared mission to promote safe swimming for
children in underprivileged communities by providing swimming lessons and access to pools. Hayward also
sponsors the French National Table Tennis Center for members of the disabled community. Since the onset of
the conflict in Ukraine, Hayward and its employees have donated to the American Red Cross to fund vital aid
to those who remain in Ukraine and those who have sought refuge in neighboring countries.
